Scope

This standard stipulates the definition, principle, equipment, method steps, judgment and written procedures to be performed when submitting for inspection and appraisal. This standard is applicable to identify the relationship between the cause of melting and the cause of fire from the appearance characteristics of the melting marks of copper and aluminum conductors when investigating the cause of electrical fires.
