- This standard specifies the definition, type spectrum, code, technical requirements, testing methods, markings, packaging and other aspects of pressure regulators (hereinafter referred to as pressure regulators) used in urban gas transmission and distribution systems. This standard applies to regulators that regulate back pressure, not to regulators that regulate front pressure. The medium is town gas whose inlet pressure is not higher than 1.6MPa (except for bottled liquefied petroleum gas). The pressure values mentioned in this standard refer to the gauge pressure unless marked.
