This standard stipulates the definition of brandy, product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage requirements. This standard applies to grape distilled wine made from grapes, which is fermented, distilled, aged in oak barrels, and blended. It is usually referred to as "brandy" for short.
