Scope

The document applies to the use of desiccants in bags according to DIN 55473 in packages made of packaging materials with a low water vapour transmission. The desiccant shall protect the content during transport and storage in different climtes. The purpose of this standard is to fix uniform calculation methods in order to determine the number of necessary desiccant units.
