Scope

This British Standard specifies requirements for all components and equipment (contained in designated fire zones) designed and constructed to provide a level of fire resistance not less than a specified minimum. It does not relate to flammability requirements. The standard should also be read in conjunction with British Standard 3G. 100 : Part 0.
