The requirements cover controllers intended for starting and stopping centrifugal fire pumps, including automatic and non-automatic types for electric motor or engine driven pumps in accordance with NFPA 20. Types of controllers covered include full service, limited service, high voltage and residential. Controllers may be provided with transfer switches. Controllers may be suitable for use as service equipment. This equipment is for use in ordinary locations in accordance with NFPA 70.
