- Scope
- This standard specifies several test methods for the surface temperature and cold loss of cold-insulation structures, various requirements for test work, test organization and preparation work, data processing methods, test errors, cold-insulation effect evaluation methods, and the content of test reports. This standard is applicable to the test and evaluation of the cold insulation effect of equipment, pipelines and their accessories, and related instruments whose outer surface temperature is below normal temperature to -196°C in general industrial sectors. This standard does not apply to the testing and evaluation of construction, cold storage, national defense or scientific research, and certain cold insulation effects with special requirements.
