- This standard specifies the technical conditions for mineral oil type or synthetic hydrocarbon type refrigerating machine oil. The products covered by this standard are mainly applicable to ammonia, CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons, such as R12) and HCFCs (hydrochlorofluorocarbons, such as R22) as the system, see Appendix A.
