Scope

This standard specifies the performance requirements, test methods and inspection rules for dry powder tanks, bottle head valves, selector valves, gas generators, nozzles, spray guns and other components of dry powder fire extinguishing systems. This standard applies to fixed and semi-fixed dry powder fire extinguishing systems (hereinafter referred to as dry powder systems).
