Scope

This standard specifies the method for measuring the noise A-weighted sound pressure level at the driver's position of construction machinery under the condition that the machine is stationary and the engine is running at rated speed. This standard applies to the following types of construction machinery: -- Hydraulic and mechanical excavators; -- Crawler and tire bulldozers; -- Crawler and tire loaders; -- Backhoe loaders.
