Scope

This standard specifies the definition of all shape and position tolerances (referred to as geometric tolerances) required by the workpiece, and proposes the basic requirements, symbols, labels and representation methods in drawings of geometric tolerances. This standard applies to the shape and position tolerance requirements of all industrial products starting from the function.
