Scope

This standard applies to ozone generation plants based on the silent electric discharge principle and used to treat water (e.g. drinking water, industrial water, swimming pool water) and waste water. This standard can also be applied in other fields of application, e.g. in ozone generation plants for the treatment of flue gases.
