- This standard specifies the most basic safety requirements for the design, manufacture, installation, use and maintenance of vibrating feeders. This standard applies to electromagnetic vibrating feeders, inertial vibrating feeders and other forms of vibrating feeder equipment itself, excluding components connected to such equipment. If the equipment is used to transport dangerous, poisonous and other harmful materials, the user should declare to the manufacturer when ordering, and the manufacturer should submit the special safety conditions that should be observed to the installer and user.
