- Scope
- This standard gives rules for the verification of stuctural safety of plate-like steel structures which may fail through instability. It has always to be applied in conjunction with DIN 18800 part 1. The rules given in this standard apply to reinforced and unreinforced rectangular plates which are subjected to plain normal and shear stresses.
