Scope

This chapter in GB 4706.1 1998 is applicable except for the following content: 1 1 This article adds the following content: This section applies to floor polishing (including waxing and grinding) mainly designed for industrial and commercial use and driven by electric motors ), scrubbing and scrubbing, scarfing and carpet shampooing equipment. These appliances, including those with wet and/or dry suction pumps, may be used with or without accessories. Appliances equipped with wet suction and/or dry suction pumps should also comply with the requirements for industrial vacuum cleaners. Note 1: Commercial use refers to use in hotels, schools, hospitals, factories, shops and offices, for example, rather than for general housework. This section also applies to appliances that collect harmful dusts, such as asbestos, or liquids with additional requirements. This section also applies to appliances whose prime movers use other forms of energy, but their effects must be considered. Modification: Replace the first two paragraphs of Note 3 with the following: 　——Appliances for household use (see GB 4706 57 2002); 　——Apparatus for spraying extractables (see IEC 60335 2 68); Intended for use in environments where corrosive substances often occur Or appliances in special environments with explosive gases (such as steam or combustible gas, etc.).
