- Scope
- The document contains recomendations about the safety of the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) in road vehicles. Therewith it shall be reached that the electric equipment in road vehicles will operate contently without affecting one by each other. Especially this is important because of the increasing usage of electronic units in motor vehicles. Therefore standard test signals which lean on to the disturbances appearing along supply lines in 12 V and 24 V onboard system are recommended for the testing of the compatibility of the electric units. The measurement of disturbances and their restriction to an acceptable quanity is also shown with in. Further methods for the reduction of the emission of disturbances and the increase of the compatibility are indicated.
