- This section specifies terminology specific to rotating electrical machines. This part is applicable to the formulation of standards, the preparation of technical documents, the preparation and translation of professional manuals, teaching materials and books and periodicals, for use by personnel engaged in production, scientific research, application and teaching and other relevant departments engaged in electrical engineering and related professional work. The terms specified in this section are coordinated with the relevant parts of GB/T 2900.1 "Basic Electrical Terminology"; terms not specified in this section may be specified under relevant standards when necessary.
