Scope

This standard applies to groundnut oil (also commonly known as peanut oil) for edible and industrial purposes. Groundnut oil in this standard shall be of the following three categories: (a) Crude groundnut oil; (b) Fragrant groundnut oil; (c) Refined and deodorized groundnut oil.
