- This standard specifies the characteristic requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements of natural fatty alcohols. This standard is applicable to a series of fatty primary alcohols obtained from natural oils and fats through methyl esterification, hydrogenation and fractional distillation.
