Scope

This standard includes stress calculation criteria for bolted circular pipe flanges (hereinafter referred to as flanges) that use full-face gaskets made of aluminum and aluminum alloys, and the total load acting on the gasket surface when internal pressure is applied (hereinafter referred to as gasket reaction force). The calculation standards for the required flange plate thickness at the design pressure are specified.
