- This standard specifies the spectrophotometric method for the determination of hydrogen cyanide and hydrogen cyanide in workshop air by sodium isonicotinate-sodium barbiturate. This standard applies to workshops that produce and use hydrogen cyanide or hydrogen cyanide, including the determination of pharmaceutical manufacturing, synthetic fibers and plastics, electroplating, steel quenching, ore dressing, etc.
