- Scope
- This standard specifies the test methods for bending resistance, compression deformation, hydraulic pressure resistance, negative pressure resistance, nozzle rupture resistance, chemical liquid resistance, and steam sterilization resistance of medical polymer hoses. This standard is mainly applicable to the physical performance test of medical hoses with constant cross-sectional dimensions within the length range of the tubes and with drapability (hereinafter referred to as "hose"). Other medical hoses can also be adopted by reference if applicable.
