Scope: This standard specifies three methods for determining the density of woven fabrics. According to the characteristics of the fabric, choose one of them. However, in controversial cases, Method A is recommended. This standard applies to the determination of the density of various woven fabrics. Method A: Fabric decomposition method. Suitable for all woven fabrics, especially those with complex weaves. Method B: fabric analysis mirror method. It is suitable for fabrics with more than 50 yarns per centimeter. Method C: Mobile fabric density mirror method. Suitable for all woven fabrics. Note: The three methods of measuring the density of woven fabrics using parallel line grating density mirror, oblique line grating density mirror and photoelectric scanning densitometer are listed in Appendix A (Reference) for reference. These methods have low measurement accuracy and limitations, but can be roughly estimated quickly.
