- This standard specifies the sample preparation, test equipment, test procedure and test result evaluation method for galvanic corrosion test of marine metal materials. This standard is applicable to evaluate the galvanic corrosion behavior of two different metals under the condition of electrical connection in artificial seawater or other electrolytes under laboratory conditions. The galvanic corrosion test under field conditions can also be used as a reference.
