- This standard specifies the limit deviations commonly used for the various metric wrench openings and wrench holes shown in the figure below. This standard specifies common limit deviations for wrenches of various specifications according to the dimensions of opposite sides, and the limit deviations are upper deviation and lower deviation. In addition to the standard metric dimensions of the width of the opposite side stipulated in ISO 272:1982, the opposite side dimensions in the table also include a certain number of transition days, which are expressed in brackets.
