- This standard specifies the safety requirements and corresponding test methods for mobile communication equipment against harmful damage, electric shock, radiation, etc. This standard applies to antenna communication equipment for mobile services of all types of protection against electric shock (see GB/T 12501 Electrical and Electronic Equipment Classified by Electric Shock Protection), as well as any auxiliary equipment necessary for the normal operation of the equipment. Including combination unit and matching network, antenna system and feeder, also including remote control device and switching device for private or public telephone. However, power supply equipment and battery chargers externally connected to mobile stations or fixed stations are not included. Ensure the safety of personnel during operation and normal adjustments, as well as during troubleshooting and repairing equipment. Guarantees the safety of personnel when the equipment is operating under a specified fault condition that may occur in normal operation and normal use. All requirements do not guarantee the safety of the operator when the equipment is not in normal use. The tests specified in this standard are used to check whether the equipment meets the safety requirements of this standard when it works under normal conditions and specified fault conditions. Such tests shall be performed with representative equipment to determine compliance with the safety requirements of this standard. The use of this standard is not limited to type tests, it is also applicable to acceptance tests after installation of equipment, tests after changes to equipment components and tests at appropriate intervals to ensure the continued safety of equipment throughout its lifetime.
