Scope: This standard specifies the determination of the ISO sensitivity of black and white negative film for photography. This standard applies to films processed with conventional chemicals and equipment, but also to films processed by special processes, such as those developed with activators or thermally developed. This standard does not apply to cinematographic, aerial photography, lithography, radiography, and photomicrography films, nor to negatives for diffusion transfer systems.
