Scope

The indirect determination of tensile strength of natural solid rocks are carried put for obtaining information relative to mine safety, mining technology, and coal preparation, viz. competence of the strata, rock pressure calculations, tool wear, cutting performance of roadheading and coalwinning equipment, dimensioning of crushers, etc.
