- Scope
- The standard replies to steel pipelines and other pipelines components, which shall be used for gas pipelines of public supply service for permissible service pressures up to 16 bar (see DVGW-Arbeitsbl則ter G 459, G 462/I, G 462/II).; The standard does not reply to pipelines out of public supply service, especially in the chemical industry, even if gases shall transported in pipelines, which does not correspond to the DVGW-Arbeitsblatt G 260/I.
