This part of GB/T 6495 specifies the requirements for a solar simulator equipped with a standard device spectrally matched to the sample under test for indoor testing of non-concentrating ground flat-panel photovoltaic devices. The output of the solar cell has a great relationship with the incident light spectral distribution. In order to reduce the test error, this section specifies in detail the acceptable matching value of the solar simulator spectral distribution relative to the standard spectral irradiation distribution. However, it should be noted that the error value Size is also affected by the mismatch in spectral response between the standard cell and the test sample. This section applies to pulse simulators and steady-state simulators.
