The standard describes a flame atomic absorption spectrometric method for the determination of the total chromium content of the liquid portion of paints, varnishes and related products. The method is applicable to products having total chromium contents in the liquid portion in the range of about 0,05 to 5% (m/m). It is intended for use in connection with ISO 6713.
