- This standard is an engineering-level measurement method, applicable to the noise measurement of various electric tools (hereinafter referred to as tools) in a stable operating state. In order to correctly evaluate and compare the radiated noise of tools, this standard specifies the A-weighted sound power level measurement method, and other weighted sound powers and frequency band sound powers can be selected according to needs. This standard does not apply to tools with a single pulse and a repetition rate of less than 10 bursts of noise per second, nor to flexible shaft tools.
