Scope: This standard clarifies the characteristics, distribution and impact on products of dust, sand, and salt spray environments that occur in nature, and the factors that affect these environmental conditions. This standard is applicable to consider the natural conditions and impacts that products may suffer from exposure to dust, sand, and salt spray during storage, transportation, and use. The influence of these environmental factors is often closely related to wind, and increases several times with the increase of wind force.
