- Scope
- This standard specifies the acetylacetone spectrophotometric method for the determination of formaldehyde in industrial waste gas and ambient air. This method is suitable for the determination of waste gas emitted from industries such as resin manufacturing, coatings, artificial fibers, plastics, rubber, dyes, pharmaceuticals, paints, and tanning, as well as formaldehyde vapor generated during medical disinfection, antisepsis, and fumigation. When the sampling volume is 05-10.0L, the measurement range is 0.5-800mg/m3. When the formaldehyde concentration is 20μg/10m1, 8mg phenol (400 times), 10mg acetaldehyde (500 times), 600mg ammonium ions (30000 times) have no interference effect; coexist SO2, less than 20μg, NO
less than 50μg, the recovery rate of formaldehyde is not less than 95%.
