Scope

This standard specifies the usage characteristics, codes, models, specifications and product representation methods, technical requirements, tests and Methods, acceptance rules, packaging, transportation and storage, etc. This standard is applicable to cross-linked polyethylene insulated shallow sea (lake) cables with rated voltages from 6kV (Um=7.2kV) to 35kV (Um=40.5kV) fixedly laid in shallow seas (tidal flats) with water depths not exceeding 50m, as well as in rivers and lakes.
