Scope

(1.1) Specifications — This standard defines the location within which edge numbers will appear on 16-mm motion-picture film. The maximum interval between successive numbers is also specified. (1.2) Application — This standard applies to latent-image printing of edge numbers as well as to any other method of printing such as inking.
