Scope

This standard applies to adjustable adaptors for tools with metric and morse taper shanks according to DIN 228 part 1. Adjustable adaptors are mounted in spindle noses according to DIN 55058. The adaptors can be adjusted in lenght in the spindles nose. Part 2 is the long type of adjustable adaptors.
