Scope

Form This specification covers a corrosion and heat-resistant nickel alloy in the form of sheet@ strip@ and plate up to 2 inches (50.8 mm)@ inclusive@ in nominal thickness (see 8.4). Application These products have been used typically for parts requiring oxidation resistance up to 2000 ??(1093 ??@ but useful at the higher temperatures only when stresses are low@ and where such parts may require welding during fabrication@ but usage is not limited to such applications. Strength at elevated temperatures is similar to that of 18-8 type steels.
