The application of this standard can guide the collection and management of viral hepatitis clinical phenotype data in hospitals in multiple regions, multiple centers and at different levels in my country, promote data interconnection and co-construction and sharing, and provide a reference for the integration and utilization of data resources. The technical points of this standard mainly include detailed specifications for the operational points in six links including data collection, data storage, data governance, data sharing, data verification, and data security and ethics of viral hepatitis clinical phenotype data, and 200 viral hepatitis data standards were written as examples of data sharing, aiming to promote exchanges and cooperation in viral hepatitis-related research at home and abroad.
