This standard gives acceptable interim levels of residual radioactivity in soil. It applies to the open utilization of decommissioned sites of nuclear facilities (including uranium and thorium mining and metallurgy facilities and radioisotope production facilities); for the open utilization of other sites engaged in activities that increase the level of natural radioactivity, reference can be made to the implementation.
