- This standard specifies the high performance liquid chromatography method for the determination of β-carotene in feed. This standard is applicable to the determination of β-carotene in compound feeds, concentrated feeds, concentrate supplements, and additive premixed feeds. The quantitative limit of this standard for compound feed, concentrated feed, and concentrate supplements is 1 mg/kg, and the quantitative limit of additive premixed feed is 2 mg/kg.
