- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and codes, dimensions, dimensional tolerances, shape, size and shape measurement, weight, and numerical rounding of hot-rolled steel plates and strips. This standard applies to single rolled steel plates with a rolling width of not less than 600mm (hereinafter referred to as single rolled steel plates) and wide steel strips, slit steel strips, and continuous rolled steel plates.
