Scope

This document describes the working modes of nine block cipher algorithms, and gives parameters and methods. This document is applicable to guide the use of block cipher algorithms in encrypting and decrypting data. The mode of operation described in this document is only suitable for protecting the confidentiality of data, not for protecting the integrity of data.
