This standard specifies the content, monitoring methods and qualification indicators of energy-saving monitoring of cooling tower circulating water systems in normal use. This standard applies to mechanically ventilated cross-flow, counter-flow, and mixed-flow wet open cooling towers driven by electric motors using air as the cooling source. Water treatment energy consumption is not included.
