- This standard specifies the main performance requirements and test methods for medical compression atomizers (hereinafter referred to as atomizers). This standard applies to medical compression atomizers that use compressed gas generated by a gas compressor as a driving source to generate and transmit aerosol. The nebulizer is used to atomize liquid medicine for patient inhalation. This standard does not apply to medical ultrasonic nebulizers.
