Scope: This standard specifies the requirements for two types of thermoplastic multilayer (non-vulcanized) hoses and hose assemblies for transporting liquefied petroleum gas and liquefied natural gas. Each type is divided into two categories, one is used onshore, and the other is used offshore: ——Type A is used onshore; ——Type B is used offshore. This standard applies to hoses and hose assemblies with an inner diameter of 25mm~300mm, working pressure of 1.05MPa~2.5MPa and working temperature range of -196℃~non-vulcanized). Thermoplastic multilayers at +4 5 °C (Note: Offshore LNG hose assemblies are also specified in EN 1472 2.
