- Nuclear power seismic capability visit is one of the most important components of the seismic margin assessment (SMA) and seismic probabilistic safety assessment (SPSA) work of nuclear power plants and the existing nuclear implementation safety assessment. In order to standardize the seismic capacity inspection of structures, systems and components in nuclear power plant seismic margin assessment (SMA) and seismic probabilistic safety assessment (SPSA), this standard fully draws on the inspection method given in the US General Implementation Procedure (GIP) As well as the method for assessing the seismic margin of nuclear power plants issued by the US Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), this standard was formulated based on the practical experience of visiting multiple domestic nuclear power plants.
