Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, materials, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage, product samples and basic contents of instructions for combined air-conditioning units (units for short). This standard is applicable to units with functional sections as combined units that can complete one or more processing functions such as air transportation, mixing, heating, cooling, dehumidification, filtration, silencing, and heat recovery. The refrigerants are brine, ethylene glycol and direct evaporation coils as well as units using electric heating, please refer to the applicable ones. This standard does not apply to air conditioners (devices), fan coil units, heaters, etc. that have their own cooling and heat sources.
