- This standard specifies the classification of general solid waste and classification code preparation rules and examples of classification codes. This standard applies to general solid waste collection, storage, packaging, transportation, processing, utilization, disposal and related management processes. This standard does not apply to the relevant management processes of unclassified domestic waste and construction solid waste in general solid waste.
