Scope

The document describes equipment which is designed for the measurement of hearing of frequencies higher than the conventional range used in pure tone audiometry. It specifies requirements for audiometric equipment designed for use in pure ton audiometry in the frequency range from 8000 Hz to 16000 Hz.
